Before you finance an STR in Georgia

Lenders generally fund short-term rentals only where they are legal. Some, like Logan Finance, run a compliance report to confirm STRs are allowed in the state, city and county. Check local permit and zoning rules for your city before you go under contract. Then compare how each lender counts STR income: a projection-based lender can qualify a purchase with no booking history, while a history-only lender will use long-term market rent until you have 12 months of bookings.
